Mai fang is sappanwood (Caesalpinia sappan), the heartwood that gives one of Thailand's oldest traditional drinks its extraordinary deep ruby colour ‚ nam yah nang and temple drinks have used it for centuries. Erawadee's T23 is 100 g of the wood in pieces, which you either steep for a quarter of an hour or simmer for five minutes. Naturally caffeine-free, with a mild woody sweetness.

How to Use

Infuse one piece in 500 ml of hot water for 15 minutes, or boil for five minutes. Drink 200 ml with or after a meal. Keep the brewed tea at room temperature for no more than two days. Follow the directions on the package.
