Ya nuat maeo ‚ cat's whiskers, sold internationally as Java tea (Orthosiphon aristatus) ‚ is named for the long white stamens curving out of its flowers. It is the standard water-balance herb of Thai traditional practice, and it has always been drunk rather than swallowed. Erawadee's T19 is 50 g of the loose herb, brewed strong and taken with meals.

How to Use

Crush a piece and infuse in 500 ml of hot water at 90–95°C for 15 minutes. Drink 200 ml with or after a meal. Keep the brewed tea at room temperature for no more than two days. Follow the directions on the package.
